We spent Thanksgiving this year at my parents house {although we did have Thanksgiving the Sunday before at the Myers' house...lucky us}. The boys started the day off with their annual Turkey Bowl while the girls got started in the kitchen. I made some pumpkin cinnamon rolls to hold us over until dinner. It was my first time ever using yeast...for some reason it is so intimidating to me. Thankfully they rose :)
When it was time for dinner we ate delicious food while we each took turns saying what we are thankful for. I loved that. After we stuffed ourselves and let our bellies settle for a bit we ate pie and Heavenly Hash. So yum. Then we went and saw Arthur Christmas...so dumb.
I am really going to miss being with our families this time next year...can't think about that too much!
